Overview

This section explains how to efficiently navigate and search within Hubstream using the Hamburger Menu, Left Navigation Panel, and Omni Search.

Hamburger Menu

The Hamburger Menu is one of the most frequently used features in Hubstream. It serves as the central navigation hub, allowing users to access all key areas of the platform. From the Hamburger Menu, you can navigate to dashboards, entities, recent activities, reports, and specific records.

To access the Hamburger Menu, follow these steps:

Log in to the Hubstream instance.
Click the Hamburger icon in the top-left corner of the screen.

The Hamburger Menu includes the following features:

Dashboards – Displays dashboards in a thumbnail format and can be accessed with a single click.
Entities – Shows all available entities in Hubstream (e.g., Investigations, Tasks, Company, Email Address, People, etc.) for direct access.
Reports – Displays reports generated through Power BI, available for review and download.
Recent Activities – Displays a list of recently viewed or edited cases, helping you quickly resume work.
“Jump To” Tab – Allows direct access to a specific record by entering the entity prefix and record ID. Example: INV-2 (where INV is the investigation entity prefix and 2 is the record ID).

Left Navigation Panel

The Left Navigation Panel provides quick access to dashboards, entities, notes, linked entities, suggested entities, documents, media attachments, and more. The navigation panel is dynamic; the actions available in the panel vary according to entity type and data context.

To access the left navigation panel, hover your cursor over the left side of the screen.

Navigation Panel on Dashboard

The left navigation panel on the dashboard displays all available dashboards within the Hubstream system. It allows users to quickly navigate between dashboards for seamless access and efficient action.

Navigation Panel on List Page

The left navigation panel on a list page shows all available entities in the Hubstream system. You can select any entity from the panel to quickly access its related list page and actions.

The left navigation panel on a details page contains options to access notes, linked entities, documents, media attachments, suggested entities, and more.

Omni Search

Omni Search helps you find desired records by entering keywords in the search bar. This feature is available globally across all pages, regardless of current data context.

To find entity records using omni search, follow these steps:

Click the search bar at the top of the screen.
Enter your search keyword. You can search by entity type, record title, name, or other details.
Click the search icon. A “Searching…” message appears as the system processes your request.
The search results display a list of entities containing the search keywords along with the number of occurrences.
Click the desired entity to view the list page with search results.
